Friday Night at the Fun Fair

Friday nights out are often loud, bright and tacky. Especially when spent at the fun fair. I'm not really a fan of rides - I made it onto one that night and spent most of it screaming 'I hate it, I think I might die' - but the atmosphere here was amazing. We went on the dodgems, confirming my fear that I should not learn to drive for another few years, and ate horrible greasy food to get the full experience. And as we went up on the ferris wheel, the fireworks started. (As did the rain). Perfect. 

Vogue Covers

For my recent 21st birthday my brother gave me this book. It contains nearly all of the American Vogue covers since it first began on 17th December 1892. From the black and white drawings that it started out with right through to the modern day covers featuring celebrities we know today. This beautiful book tracks the 120 years of the magazine, and the trends that have gone with it.
